Heritage Exploration
It has taken some getting used to migrating my brain from the SEW BROMO work to my own designs. I have decided to go all in design wise and to make dramatic fine fashion with slower more intentional methods. I want fashion that ignites a sense of romance and appreciation for fine fabrics and construction. I want the designs to remind you of a bygone era that has jumped out of the history books into full present day form.
I have started to watch films that inspire me around old world dressmakers such as the House of Elliot and have started a sketchbook of image clippings reminding me what those spaces and people look like as I desire to create an Elsa Fitzgerald version of these elements. It feels good taking off the training wheels and designing a grand fashion fun land.
I am interested in creating museum dress level fashion for discerning patrons who love beauty and desire to invest in fashion artistry. I also intend to capture the process and methods for others to enjoy learning and seeing the design and construction process. I trust that the world is open and excited to embrace the fashion I am called to sew. I hope you find the power to fight for the dreams that live in your heart to pursue with all your might before you die.

I have begun research on Victorian Mourning fashion and will design a collection in a potential collaboration with another designer named Jill Andrews.
