Royal Dressmaker
Staying the course is the most important and intentional thing one can do when working to align one's movements towards a life that awakens the soul to dance. I struggle with the need to surrender while taking action towards the mission aligned practice. I find myself looking to return to what I know, but that will not the way I will grow.
The prospective patron for the painting with lace dresses has decided to wait on the commission. It is interesting because this inquiry forced me to look at this technique and to determine how to make it better in terms of process. I was able to meet with Jill Andrews a fine dressmaker to discuss ways to make slight tweaks to the construction which was fun.
My dream of being the Royal Dressmaker is less about making garments for others and more about sharing my own fine dressmaking journey. I have always said that the dress will let me know what she desires to become. I am inspired and motivated to finally finish this collection. I have a meeting with the owner of Madison house about hosting an artist soiree at the estate.
